For example, the Anakites were descendants of the Nephilm. Likewise, the Rephaites (or Rephaim) were also giants. To many Bible students, Genesis 6 teaches that they are a supernatural human race, perhaps descended from fallen angels (Genesis 6:4 talks about how they are descended from the “sons of God”).
